This morning everyone must have been up and at them….hump day….though that is a tad bit surprising…considering that yesterday was St. Patty’s Day….perhaps no one went to bed!! )

So far it has been a blast visiting all these sites the past few days.  It has been interesting getting to know a little bit more about the people that follow you on twitter and what they do.  I’ll get another round going in a few days, just watch for me on twitter to send out the #peasandbananas getting to know you post.

So far this little gig I am doing is interesting and fun, it is great to see what the rest of you are up to.  I mean, really now, there are only what a few billion of us on earth?  There has to be more then just lil boo, the mrs. and daddy bookins right???  Wait no, it is our little world – stand back – keep away!!!!

Today I went a little stir crazy and got that wild hair up my @ss.  I thought to myself, I have over 2000 followers on twitter @PeasandBananas and how many of them do I really know?  The honest truth about less than a handful.  How many do I converse with on a regular basis?  Probably around one percent of the above total followers.  What good is it to have all these ‘followers’ if you have no idea what they are about?  Is that not the true meaning of ‘Social Networking’??  In order to get to know my fellow ‘twitters’ I ran a stream that looked sort of like this earlier today:

My suggestion would be to follow all of them, their blogs are great!  Each was different and unique in its own way.  I was surprised at the vast diversity of the individuals.  It really opens up your mind to see what everyone else out in the world is up to.

@frostedbetty – I was unable to leave a comment on your site, since I do not have the open id or blogger acct.  I did want to say, the frog and mushroom for the Pixie Cake were awesome!  Also, lil boo loves cupcakes!  You’d have an ‘in’ with him there!!

@3bedroom – The photos along the River Cam….very cool!!  It has been a long time since I’ve been there….you are lucky!!  Funny story…got in an argument with a gentleman when I ordered a ‘Mocha’ at a shop along the Cam….he kept telling me it was a ‘Maacha’ I had a WTF?? moment with him.
