April 29th, 2010The Boo’isms are improving by the day!!! As I was looking for the ‘perfect’ replacement belt at one of my favorite retail stores (hint: EddieBauer), the Mrs. was hanging out with Lil Boo. I was promptly informed of Lil Boo’s latest infatuation:
Mrs. – Look Lil Boo, aren’t those nice tops? (pointing towards manikins)
Lil Boo – Yea, those are pretty mommy. They have Boobies!
Mrs. – LIL BOO!
Lil Boo – Look up there mommy (pointing at more manikins), Boobies! Boobies! Boobies!
Ah, I wonder what’s on his mind?!? Great! All boys do think alike….

Boo’ism
April 28th, 2010You just have to adore the pure honesty that pours from your child’s mouth, no matter where it is, what is said, or how real it is. Lil Boo spilled this one as we were leaving a packed restaurant this evening:
Look daddy, my belly is as big as yours! See?! Look at my belly, daddy! It is like your belly, big!
Seriously, could we emphasize the big and belly part a few more times? BTW…let it be known, that I have shaved off a cool 7 lbs since last Friday. I have 10 lbs more to go before I am back at my pre-night shift #carbwhore #cokeaddiction weight, so take that Lil Boo! (I know real mature, arguing with a four year old)
