This just can not be good.  The first video I watch on Juice Box Jungle is a complete flop on dads.  Are all dad’s like this?  Watch the video below and then my follow up:

Perhaps I am being harsh, but this does not happen in our household.  The mrs. and I are equals with lil boo.  We share the responsibilities and if one is not up to it that day, the other steps up.  EQUAL!

First off, Sports?!  Alright lil boo loves playing footie in the back yard, soccer.  That is not his life, especially with daddy or mommy.  Equal play time balances out your child.  Lil boo will play footie, then he is off running around in the grass, observing bugs, digging up rocks, playing hide and seek, going up and down the slide, riding his bike, or just lying down in the grass watching the airplanes fly by and enjoying the crisp blue sky.   Most importantly, either the mrs., myself or both of us are right there with him.

Clean Up?!?!  Guys do not know how to clean?  Whoa cowboymama!  This daddy’o does the dishes, laundry, folds clothes, cleans the kitchen, vacuums the floor, makes the beds, dusts, mops, mows the yard, picks weeds, trims the trees, cleans cleans cleans and guess what…..the mrs. will do the same just as well!  (side note: I do not clean showers….just don’t….just as the mrs. can not stand folding clothes….trade off – fair enough.)

Playtime – As in the first section, not just sports…the items listed above were just outside items.  Let’s head indoors for some major fun.  Yes, we do play footie indoors, in addition to the wild obsession of cars, Lego’s, lincoln logs, pretending (building a creative imagination), reading books and more books and more books!!  Yes, lil boo is allowed to watch tv – Sprouts and Muzzy.

Good Cop/Bad Cop -  Why does one or the other have to be good or bad?!  Are you not a united front with your children?  The mrs. and I sure are with lil boo.

What an episode of the Juice Box Jungle I had to catch.  I am off to watch a few more episodes….what are your thoughts?
