I came across this video, that I *sorta* forgot about that I took back in March 2008 while going for a walk with Lil Boo. Listen at the 22 second mark -- such a little voice….compared to today’s defiant behavior. What a joy! Ironic how Lil Boo had asked recently to go back up to Fountain Hills to see the fountain. Road trip!
Cheers!
Welcome to the continuation of the YOB Years! Where all you need is a BIG Hug!
Looking to kill a tad bit of time, check out lil boo’s new favorite show Shaun the Sheep below.
As per the random update, all is well, sort of in the bookins household. This whole night shift ordeal has put a huge sum of stress on our family life and social life (wait am I allowed to have one of those?) From the sounds of it, this may continue on into the end of October.
Which in lieu of this, is a good thing….I am tentatively planning to release Peas and Bananas Outside with Lil Boo on November 1, 2009. Remember ‘tentatively’ was the key word.
With that said, you may see some items taking place over in the twitter-verse with @peasandbananas and now a new sidekick @daddybookins (closer to the release date you will see some more crazy action happening).
I would also like to send a note of thanks to all the loyal followers/friends/readers for all your generous support and well wishes during this ‘hiatus’.
I will be posting random updates over the next few weeks, letting you all in on the P&B release scoop.
Cheers! Now for Shaun the Sheep..
Enjoy!

This just proves anyone can have a children’s television show! Ithink it would be rather popular…with the older kids (like you and me). What do you think?
Enjoy!

Back in 2000 this was the number one hit, It’s My Life by Bon Jovi. Talk about a fitting song for us back then and even now.
This anniversary will be a quiet one, we’ll only see each other for about an hour today. I have that weird odd night shift thing happening, and she’ll be working during the day of course. I suppose she has seen enough of me over the last nine years to do without. I am positive, without a doubt I will make it up to her a thousand times over!
Peas and Banana's, a brief glimpse of the daily trials - tribulations - ramblings of a dad's view while raising his son in an ever so confusing world. Enjoy!
