As another #smr Sunday Morning Ritual comes and goes, I hope everyone enjoys this absolute knock you on your @ss cocktail!
I will be snoozing away the morning, as we worked another night shift – on into the wee morning hours. Perhaps I should have ended it with a Russian Quaalude?!
I think not.
Friday night I tested out this drink, and all I have to say is seriously you best just sit yourself down in a nice comfy chair and say GOODNIGHT!
Without further adieu here is the ‘actual’ recipe for a Russian Quaalude:
- 3/4 ounce Frangelico
- 3/4 ounce Irish cream liqueur
- 3/4 ounce vodka
Shake Miss Frangelico, Mistress Vodka, and Mrs. Irish Cream vigorously with ice and pour in either a cocktail glass or an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.

I freaking love it! I think I could have used that last night as well….the twins and the oldest were in rare form…I still have hair though. LOL
I think I will have to try this! I am always looking for something to dull the pain…and vodka seems to do it!
